Conservationists around the world are working in landscapes shaped by human behavior.

Education and outreach is one of many conservation actions to change behavior.  However, it can be more challenging than expected to be rigorous and measurably impactful.  We don’t always know where to begin, how to craft the right message, how to engage our audience, and how to evaluate programs.

That’s why PEN is excited to announce our one-month online course, “Design Education Programs for Conservation Success”.  We will provide you with a step-by-step process, practical methods, and real-world examples to design or improve your education and outreach programs.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Define program goals and objectives to solve your highest priority issues
  • Create and deliver conservation messages to drive behavior change
  • Design effective learning experiences for your audiences to promote deeper learning and engagement
  • Select and implement the right methods and tools to evaluate and improve your programs

To make this knowledge accessible to everyone, we brought together four amazing instructors and made this course free with a suggested donation to PEN.
