Dr. Jane Goodall’s Message for Educators

Dr. Goodall and Amy Clanin discuss primate education after her "Seeds of Hope" lecture in Berkeley, California.

PEN's Executive Director Amy Clanin recently spoke with Jane Goodall, Ph.D., DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute, and UN Messenger of Peace.  She asked Dr. Goodall to share her message for educators and here's what she had to say...

"The most important message I have for educators is that the going may seem tough and it may be hard and you may get tired, but it really will be worth it in the end.  Never give up.  Just tell everybody that every little thing we all do each day really does make a difference, so it's worth rolling up your sleeves and saying: okay, I'm going to do this and it's going to be good."

On behalf of all of us at PEN, thank you, Dr. Goodall, for sharing your encouraging words of wisdom for educators everywhere.
