PEN Parties for the Planet at the Oakland Zoo!

PEN was thrilled to participate in the Oakland Zoo’s Party for the Planet Earth Day event!  At our kid’s table, we hosted a variety of educational activities, including primate crayon cups, drawing templates, coloring pages and masks, photo props, selfie messages, and more!  See PEN in action below and link to the resources we used for your education efforts!

Families enjoyed playing the Barrel of Monkeys game! Look how many monkey arms they have linked!

The primate masks were a big hit! Download these masks (and more resources featured below) from PEN’s Resource Library.

How do you measure up to an orangutan? This is a great activity to show children (and adults!) the arm span of an adult male orangutan! Download the handprint and read about more orangutan activities.

At our kid's table, children and their parents learned about the primates featured on our crayon cups.

For loads of laughs, we asked visitors to read jokes from the Primate Joke Jar!

Create your selfie with PEN’s 12 message downloads in English, Spanish, & Portuguese!

Special thanks to the Oakland Zoo for hosting the event and to everyone who stopped by to show your support for PEN.  We hope you enjoy more of our photos from the event below!

Celebrate Endangered Species Day with PEN!
